The world is full of items and concepts that seem to be fairly similar, yet clearly aren’t identical. Comparisons of these often-confused terms have inevitably already been made, usually in excruciating detail, by folks who can provide authoritative, well-researched answers. Knewance (pronounced just like nuance) attempts to distill these differences down to a concise set of easily retained facts, and to act as a repository for links to more comprehensive articles. Most of the links within the body of each entry provide supplemental information, but some Easter eggs have been strewn among them for a bit of levity.
