cockatoo v. cockatiel

Citron-crested cockatoo Cockatoos and cockatiels are both Australasian birds with showy crests that are often kept as pets. The cockatiel is the smallest member of the cockatoo family. Compared to other cockatoos, cockatiels are about a third the size and have orange cheek patches. Cockatiels are also cheaper, less vocal, and more affable.
